Carol Lee Brosseau
Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers,"" that premieres on Sunday night on Ovation the cable channel. It is a look at their careers as art brokers who help connect collectors, artists and buyers. Four episodes were created by the couple, and they will be on air throughout the month beginning Sunday, October 4, at 7pm Central. Ovation is the home of over 50 million subscribers, and also champions artists through the Ovation Digital Arts network. They hope to receive the green light to film more. The people and friends I met at Baylor have most certainly changed my life and have influenced it. Karen Pope from the Art History department. My most important classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also took her on trips to Chicago and Paris to learn about art. Her enthusiasm for art made it an enjoyable experience. She also stated that "Art history is like a puzzle. As art historians, we continue to search for the pieces that fit together." I was raised in the automotive industry by my dad, and was required to work at the dealership in the summer. I had a summer job as a mechanic's associate changing oil and brake pads.
