Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello was born April 18 1967. She is an American actress and producer. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). Bello was a major player in the world of television as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well with other starring roles such as Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath, and Jacqueline Sloane in the first season of Goliath, a Special Agent on NCIS between 2017 and 2021. Bello was born on April 18, 1967, in Norristown (PA), to Kathy an educator as well as a school nurse and Joe Bello. She also appeared on the series Touch (1997-1998). Bello has several other prominent roles, such as Michelle McBride on the show in 2016 and Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in 2017-2021. She studied political science at Villanova University. After graduation, Bello honed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. Bello revealed in November 2013 that she had a same-sex affair with Clare Munn, her former lover. She released a book entitled Whatever...Love Is a Love: Questioning All the Labels That We Give Ourselves. (Dey Street Books. April 28, 2015).
